Home today - again

Home today - again ... recovering from a second bout of meningitis ... hoping one more week of resting will bring me back to "normal," such as it is ... in the mean time, i'm rocking some cabin fever ... I haven't been to work since August 5, the after we left for vacation at the OBX ... Work keeps telling me to stay away until i'm better, so that's EXACTLY what i'm doing ... in the meantime, it's season 1 of 24 on DVD and Season 4 of Lost on DVR.

Lucy had her first soccer game on Saturday ... i'm supposed to be coaching but don't know if I'm going to be up for it ... she looked so good in her red jersey and matching socks ... gottta get her some cleats ... she plays a mean lazy center field ... if the ball comes to her she'll think about kicking it ... oh and as for that "no keeping score thing?" it's BS ... Lucy knew her team scored more goals than the other ... she's got a couple of ringers on her squad.

Carson's been toying with the idea of walking ... definitely standing and taking three steps here, four steps there they plopping down on his ass. it's really funny to watch ... hoping to get some video of it this week. Gina bought him his first shoes over the weekend ... he was trying to take them off as soon as he had them on ...
